Project title: European Network on Digitalization and E-governance (ENDE)
Period: 2023-2026
The COVID-19 pandemic has noticeably sped up the transition towards e-governance and digitalisation. It pushed governments, businesses, and institutions to rapidly implement digital solutions to ensure continuity and efficiency.
In 2023, RGSL joined the European Network on Digitalization and E-governance (ENDE), an association of experts on digital transformation in the European Union which focuses on understanding, guiding, and promoting this shift.
The network includes experts from the Tallinn University of Technology, the University of Vigo, the University of Macerata, Palacký University Olomouc, Comenius University in Bratislava, the University of Bologna, the Faculty of Applied Social Studies in Nova Gorica Institute, the University of Wrocław, the University of Turku, the University of Minho and the University of Valladolid.
The network pursues the following key objectives:
• Develop a scientific methodology to measure digital transformation and track its impact
• Increase public awareness of digitalisation and its effects on the EU
• Engage European society to boost digital participation
• Catalyse large-scale behavioural change towards e-governance across the EU.
The project is funded by the European Union.
