The second RGSL Summer school on “International and European law: the current challenges” under the scientific leadership of Dr.Ineta Ziemele will take place from 1 – 10 August 2022.
“The programme gave a great overview on urgent issues in international law. Lectures were interesting and let towards understanding of development of European Court of Human Rights, European Court and EU,” say the participants of the first Summer school.
Judge at the European court of Justice, RGSL Professor Ineta Ziemele, Judge at the European Court of Human Rights Mārtiņš Mits, Judge at the European General court Inga Reine, RGSL Professor Ilze Rūse, as well as Advocate General of the European Court of Justice Laila Medina and Judge at the European General court Pēteris Zilgalvis, will be the lecturers at the Summer school. The school will be opened by a lecture of the first Advocate General of the European Court of Justice Maciej Szpunar.
The classes will be held from 10:00 – 14:00 in Latvian.
Latvian judges, lawyers, state administration officials, lecturers and law students are invited to apply.
