What can be a better Christmas gift than our team’s victory at the Levan Alexidze International Moot Court Competition! And the Best Speaker title which went to our newly elected Student Association president and 2nd year student Jūlija Banceviča.
Congratulations to the team – Jūlija, Artjoms Starovoitovs, Jekaterina Pusepa, Monta Skrastiņa and their coach, RGSL Lecturer Anastasija Kaplane, who had managed to led her team to the finals for the 3rd year in a row. Two golds and one silver – impressive!
This international competition was established in 2019 to honour Professor Levan Alexidze, the Founder of the International Law School of Georgia.
The “Edition IV 2022” of the competition focused on potential deliberation before the International Court of Justice on the following issues:
• People fleeing war-affected areas and their protection needs.
• The territorial integrity of a state and armed conflict.
• Risks of Exploitation and Trafficking in Human Beings during forced displacement.
