21 December 2022 the Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) team got into finals of the Levan Alexidze International Moot Court Competition. This international competition was established in 2019 to honour Professor Levan Alexidze, the Founder of the International Law School of Georgia.
The “Edition IV 2022” of the competition focuses on potential deliberation before the International Court of Justice on the following issues:
• People fleeing war-affected areas and their protection needs.
• The territorial integrity of a state and armed conflict.
• Risks of Exploitation and Trafficking in Human Beings during forced displacement.
We wish the best of luck to our team members Jūlija Banceviča, Artjoms Starovoitovs, Jekaterina Pusepa, Monta Skrastiņa and their coach, RGSL Lecturer Anastasija Kaplane in the Grand Finale.
In the year 2020, RGSL team won the competition, and in 2021 we finished second.
