RGSL professor Ziemele lectured on human rights and international law at the Human Rights Academy in Beijing  

From 11 to 13 July RGSL professor Ineta Ziemele was lecturing to participants of the Human Rights Academy 2018 organised by China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL). Professor Ziemele was lecturing on the European Court of Human Rights and on the relationship between domestic law and international law. 

This summer school was co-sponsored, amongst others, by the Ministry of Education of China, U.S. Embassy, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and Norwegian Centre for Human Rights. 

CUPL is a multi-disciplinary university specialising in law, accompanied by other disciplines such as arts, history, philosophy, economics, management and pedagogy. Earlier in June RGSL team met with the representatives of CUPL to explore possible cooperation between the two educational institutions.
