On 13 June, we at Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) celebrated our Bachelors and Masters graduates from 11 countries: Bangladesh, Belgium, Estonia, Finland, Georgia, Guyana, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Latvia, Russia, and Ukraine. Three of them graduated with Distinction, and twenty with Merit.
The graduation ceremony was held at Mazā Ģilde and the party and homecoming – at the RGSL yard.
Our graduates from the Class of 2024 received a special greeting from Evika Siliņa, Prime Minister of Latvia and one of the very first Graduates of Riga Graduate School of Law:
“Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed faculty, proud parents and dear graduates! It's an immense honour to stand before you today as we celebrate your achievements. As a member of the first graduating class, I recall the unique opportunities RGSL provided for learning and an international environment with esteemed professors from many countries. The education I received here instilled in me a profound understanding of the rule of law, critical thinking skills and a broad perspective on Western values. I'm proud of RGSL continuing its tradition of excellence, preparing qualified lawyers who strengthen our democracy and prosperity. This year, we celebrate 68 graduates from the Bachelor and Masters programmes. Your education here is about more than knowledge. It's about applying that knowledge to make a difference. Congratulations to each of you! May your future be bright, and you continue to make us proud. And once again, congratulations on your remarkable achievements!
