On 13 October the floor at Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) was given to the students who presented their research papers at the RGSL 4th International Student Research Paper Conference. The Conference was opened by RGSL Director Ieva Rācenāja who presented the Excellence Awards to the best 8 students of the previous academic year, and followed by a keynote lecture by RGSL Docent, Dr.sc.jur. Aleksandrs Potaičuks on “Data protection under review of the Constitutional Court: administrative databases directly accessible to public authorities”. Student perspective on research was presented by Paula Lipe, RGSL Graduate of 2022.
The conference was organised in 4 sections – “In the context of war”, moderated by Anastasija Kaplane, with presentations by Maksym Yaroshenko, Kārlis Gustavs Sebris, “Politics coming into play” moderated by Sintija Broka with presentations by Julija Banceviča, Oksana Bidnenko and Marta Ķirse, “Human Rights” moderated by Anastasija Kaplane with presentations by Beāte Bauga, Olga Križanovska, Miane Le Roux and Adele Sakoviča, and “Competition and more” moderated by Dr. Inga Jēkabsone with presentations by Patrīcija France, Natalia Potrubach, Ance Renāte Pundure, Oona Tuomi and Nikola Ciparsone.
