Founded in 1998, RGSL has become a springboard for many successful careers in law, diplomacy and business.
“Based on my experience in universities in many countries - the Netherlands, UK, Sweden, Germany, France, I can say that the advantage of RGSL is student-centered approach at all levels, starting from the programme structure, enabling those who really want to pass on to the next level,” says Judge at the European Court of Justice, Dr. Ineta Ziemele.
“We came here to learn from distinguished professors and lecturers, to study together with passionate professionals from various fields, to challenge ourselves, to push our abilities and to advance our careers. And RGSL managed to deliver on every single one of these aspects,” Mārcis Reveliņš, 2021 graduate of RGSL Law and Finance 2-year programme with disctinction, said at the graduation ceremony on 17 June. “Locals among us can be grateful to RGSL because we have access to international, great quality education right here in Riga. “Mix of different professors enables students to be at touch base with European academic and professional discourse. RGSL has so much to offer that you can take everything you need to get an excellent master level education. Other advantage is the holistic approach to studying law. In all courses there will be an interdisciplinary element because no human being or case can be isolated in a specific box of law,” says Dr. Ziemele.
In fact, RGSL is the only higher education institution in the Baltics that offers an interdisciplinary approach in the study process in all study programmes, thus ensuring that RGSL graduates are competitive in the labour market.
