On 27 September Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) welcomes participants to the autumn session of RGSL Online Intensive Programme in European Law and Economics. RGSL is proud that the capacity building projects implemented in cooperation with our partners have managed to continue all the way through the current pandemic. Proof of this success can be seen through the launch of this Online Intensive Programme.
The Online Intensive Programme is designed for professionals coming from the European Neighbourhood Policy Countries, Central Asia and the Western Balkans. The programme will allow 100 participants to learn from leading Latvian and European experts on European Union law, economics, governance and policy making.
“Over the next 12 weeks you will learn and discuss such issues as EU Law and Integration, Fundamental Rights, Economic Development and International Trade. It will be combined with sharing of Latvian experience, knowledge and expertise. From our side I can promise that these 12 weeks will be challenging, but enormously interesting, not only because of the study subjects but because of the people you will meet as your classmates, your lecturers. We at RGSL believe it is a perfect combination of education and knowledge transfer, which will be beneficial for your future professional development and will serve as an investment in your home countries in which RGSL would be proud to take at least a small part,” says RGSL Director Ieva Rācenāja.
“The Intensive Programme could not have happened without our long term partners –, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and Government of the United States of America. I would like to thank our partners not only for the financial support of these programmes, but also for their openness and cooperation in structuring them. Special thanks also go to programme consortium – University of Latvia, Latvian Institute of International Affairs and European Institute of Public Administration.”
Although we are not able to welcome you in person in Riga, nevertheless we believe that this programme will serve as a valuable source of knowledge and a start of memorable and beneficial friendship among yourselves. We wish you engaging and interesting sessions.
