On 12 - 14 November 2014 Riga Graduate School of Law with a support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia and Transparency International Latvia are organising a training programme "Enhancing transparency and good governance: the Latvian experience for Ukraine". Participants of the programme are representatives of public administration and non-governmental organisations of Ukraine.
Main goals of the programme is to introduce participants to the current international framework on fighting corruption and relevant partnership agreements, introduce participants to the most up to date scholarly approach to studying and addressing corruption and present them with the relevant Latvian cases, addressing success stories, difficulties and lessons learned.
Programme of the training offers lectures by experts from various fields - politics, government, NGOs, academia, visits to Latvian institutions (Road Traffic Safety Directorate, Office of Corruption Prevenetion and Combating Bureau etc.), as well as informal public discussion.
At the end of the training participants will receive certificates of the successful completion of the programme.
