On 14 May Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) invited participants to the RGSL Spring Excellence School, where 19 students from secondary schools in Latvia met for the final session.
In the morning students took part in an interactive tour, where they had to find different points at RGSL. The most precise team was awarded prizes from RGSL.
During the session, visiting professor Dino Mortensen-Flores discussed the importance of culture in multi-cultural negotiations. As Dino noted, in this age of hyper-globalization, culture remains essential. From individual decisions about work and family, to societal decisions about peace and war, his lecture made the argument that culture remains the fundamental source of all human activity. And understanding the importance of the role of culture will help in succeeding in this ever-increasing, interconnected, multi-cultural world.
This being the last of three sessions, participants received a Certificate of Participation and a 10% discount for the first year of studies at RGSL.
