On Monday, 7 April at 13:00 PhD scholar of the University of Sydney Human Rights and Democracy Institute Devorah Wainer will deliver a guest lecture „The voice of the asylum seeker in the context of human rights and domestic law in Australia” at the Riga Graduate School of Law.
RGSL students and Alumni, students from other universities, public service and NGO representatives, as well as human rights experts are invited to attend. Lecture will take place at the Riga Graduate School of Law, Room W42, Strēlnieku iela 4k-2, Rīga.
Devorah Wainer arrives at her research from practical “on-the-ground” experiences inside detention centers with asylum-seekers and refugees. She has supervised PhD and Master’s students.
