On 17 January at 17.00 the RGSL hosts a public lecture by the European External Action Service expert Mr. Ivars Indans on strategic planning and analysis in foreign policy.
In the framework of the DelExPol research project "Evaluating the Post-Lisbon Effects of Delegation in the EU External Relations" funded by the FP7 Marie Curie Grant, the RGSL hosts a public lecture by Mr. Ivars Indans, Brussels-based expert of the EEAS.
The lecture/seminar is held for the Master degree students of the European Common Security and Foreign Policy Course, but is open also for the student body of the RGSL. During the lecture/seminar Mr. Ivars Indans will focus on the analytical methods of political positioning in the field of foreign policy that are applied in the work of the European External Action Service for evaluating threats and developing strategic responses.
The DelExPol project is carried out at the RGSL during the period of 2013-2016 and aims to analyse the EU’s external action after the Lisbon Treaty. The project also aims in creating synergies between the policy-makers and academia by organizing workshops, lectures and seminar discussions.
