On 12-13 November 2013 the Fundamental Rights Conference „Combating Hate Crime in the EU” took place in Vilnius. The conference invited practitioners and decision makers from across the EU to explore effective strategies to combat crimes motivated by hatred and prejudice at the EU and national level.
Prof. George Ulrich, Rector of RGSL and Dr. Mārtiņš Mits, Prorector of RGSL attended the Fundamental Rights Conference. The participation by Prof. George Ulrich was supported by a Marie Curie FP7 Integration Grant within the 7th European Union Framework Programme. Prof. George Ulrich is the academic supervisor of the research project DelExPol: ‘Evaluating the Post-Lisbon Effects of Delegation in the EU External Relations’ that is funded by the FP7 Marie Curie Grant.
