On 10 November Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) welcomed its potential students to take part in an Open Day event. During the event they had a chance to meet the incoming Rector Professor Mel Kenny, RGSL visiting lecturer Christy Kollmar, current students and other members of RGSL. They were also able to experience an interactive tour around RGSL. During the first part of the event, all participants were put into teams and in a limited time had to find different points at RGSL, such as the Library or the Gallery. At each point they had to fulfil a task or take a photo. That was the way for potential students to open the doors to RGSL. Afterwards RGSL visiting lecturer Christy Kollmar talked about the admission procedure, dates and other important information about applications. She also spoke about her experience as a student, lawyer and lecturer. Later the same day, RGSL also invited potential Master students to take part in an Open Day event. Law and Finance Master Programme director Waleed Gumaa talked about the admission procedure. Potential students were invited to discuss the book edited by Iulia Motoc and Ineta Ziemele “The Impact of the ECHR on Democratic Change in Central and Eastern Europe” with RGSL Professor Ineta Ziemele.
