On 26 May Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) invited potential students to take part in an Open Day event. During the event they had a chance to meet the Rector, current students, alumni and other members of RGSL. They were also able to experience an interactive tour around RGSL.
During the first part of the event, all participants were put into teams and in a limited time had to find different points at RGSL, such as the Library, the Gallery or the Student Association. At each point they had to fulfil a task or take a photo. That was the way for potential students to open the doors to RGSL.
Afterwards RGSL Rector George Ulrich talked about the admission procedure, dates and other important information about applications. Also discussed were the study environment and career opportunities.
Later the same day, RGSL also invited potential Master students to take part in an Open Day event. Law and Finance Master Programme director Waleed Gumaa talked about the admission procedure, while one RGSL Alumni spoke about how RGSL had encouraged her to seek new challenges: this was Dace Kalsone, now head of agency at the Latvian Fiscal Discipline Council, who graduated the RGSL International and European Law Master Programme in 2011.
