A two-day intensive course for law professionals “Law Firm Management and Marketing in the Baltic States” was held on 11 and 12 August at Riga Graduate School of Law. The course, which has just ended, saw top professionals sharing their experience in management, while the course lecturer, Ģirts Rūda, is an attorney at law with many years of experience. RGSL Director Karīna Kulberga gave an opening speech.
Participating on the first day of the course as a guest lecturer was Elizaveta Bazarova, a senior associate at Norton Rose Fulbright LLP. The participants also discussed financial management, marketing and business development, mentioning their personal professional experience.
Twelve law professionals from the Baltic States – Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia – participated in the course. The difference between the countries and their cultures gave a greater opportunity for discussion. In the course participants also had a chance to use theory in practice dealing with group assignments. At the end of the course all participants were awarded certificates.
