Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) held its 13th graduation ceremony, which this year was for 44 Masters programme graduates. The graduation ceremony was addressed by the Rector of RGSL, Professor George Ulrich, and by Aigars Stokenbergs, Minister of Justice, Republic of Latvia.
Riga Graduate School of Law delivers high quality education, which is ensured by teaching in small groups and by highly qualified teaching staff. As in previous years RGSL, has a large proportion of foreign students, which form one third of the student body. Together with students from Latvia, RGSL has Masters students from Albania, Armenia, Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Sweden, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and USA.
The Riga Graduate School of Law boasts high quality of education, which is ensured by small groups and highly qualified teaching staff. This year there are 14 foreign graduates in the International Public Law and Human Rights masters programme, Predrag Zenovič (Montenegro) will receive diploma with distinction and 2 students with merit. 9 students will graduate International and European Law programme, 4 of them will receive diplomas with merit. Legal Linguistics programme will graduate 13 students, 3 of them will receive diplomas with distinction - Paivi Koskelainen (Finland), Inga Ignate, Diana Strausa (Latvia), and 4 with merit. There will be also 6 Law and Finance programme graduates out of which 2 have obtained merit while Transboder Commercial Law programme is successfully completed by 2 students - one with distinction - Maija Opmane-Vebere (Latvia), and one with merit.
