DIS-Baltikum/Baltic Arbitration Days: Arbitration in the Baltic States and CEE
DIS – Baltikum/DIS-Baltikum (Baltic Regional Group of German Institution of Arbitration) is pleased to invite you to the international arbitration conference in association with the BNT Law Offices and the Riga Graduate School of Law: "Baltic Arbitration Days 2012 - Arbitration in the Baltic States and Central- and Eastern Europe for arbitration practitioners" on 10-11 May 2012 in Riga.
The conference will last two days and takes place in the Riga Graduate School of Law.
On the first day, new trends in arbitration will be discussed by:
- Prof. Jan Ramberg (Sweden) - First Rector of Riga Graduate School of Law and Professor emeritus of Stockholm University;
- Dr. Rolf Trittmann (Germany) - Chairman of DIS Advisory Board and Partner of Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Frankfurt am Main;
- Dr. Inese Druviete (Latvia) – ADR Lecturer of Riga Graduate School of Law.
On the second day, arbitration experts from CEE Countries, Germany, Scandinavia and Russia will provide discussion panels on arbitration in specific areas of industry, namely: Construction, Energy, Intellectual Property, Mergers & Acquisitions, Shipping and Commodities trade.
Dinners after each day of the conference will take place in ancient Gothic and Art Nouveau buildings of Riga. An interesting cultural program for spouses of the participants will be provided.
Participation fee is 250 EUR (Registration fee for conference participants includes all program sessions, Cocktails and Dinners on Thursday and Friday as well as the luncheon on Friday).
Members of Latvian Sworn Advocates Collegium - 125 EUR (50% discount from the participation fee);
Participants from Baltic States and Belarus - 190 EUR (24% discount from the participation fee).
