Riga Graduate School of Law is extending the admission deadline for studies for the Intensive Programme. Applications should be received by 22 August 2016.
The programme is a new modular version of the Advanced Programme aimed at public officials, as well as representatives of civil society and academia from the European Neighbourhood Policy (ENP) countries, Central Asia and the Western Balkans.
Countries eligible for the programme are: Albania, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan. The programme is funded by the government of the Republic of Latvia together with the governments of Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and the United States of America.
The Intensive Programme covers 6 weeks. Studies are free of any costs and fees; they also include visits to EU institutions.
Applicants must supply the following through the online application:
- motivation letter
- description of present job function
- curriculum vitae, covering at least 2-3 years of professional experience
- copies of university diplomas
- recommendation letter from current employer
- confirmation of ability to undertake studies in English
A selection committee will review all applications. Results will be announced by 31 August 2016.
