On 4 September, 2017 20 anti-corruption experts from National Anti- Corruption bureau of Ukraine, National anti-corruption agency, Transparency International-Ukraine, non- governmental organization “Centre UA,” civic movement “Chesno,” political research center “Eidos” and International Foundation for Electoral Systems started studies at Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) in the project “Empowering Ukrainian Anti-Corruption Reforms: Controlling Political Finance through Institution Building and Civil Society Control.” From 4 September to 16 September participants will have lectures and training in Latvia and from 17 September to 22 September the project will take place in Ukraine, Kiev.
During the training participants will obtain knowledge in fundamentals of EU law, good governance, investigative methods, monitoring of political party financing, anti – money laundering, asset recovery, whistleblower protection, risk control in state-owned enterprises, election monitoring as well as project management in the public sector.
In addition to lectures, training and experience sharing participants will visit the Parliament, the Corruption Prevention and Combating Bureau as well as the Road Traffic and Safety Directorate.
