This spring, Riga Graduate School of Law launches the tenth Intensive Programme in European Law and Economics.
PROGRAMME STRUCTURE
Over a period of 6 weeks, from 9 May until 16 June, the Programme provides comprehensive training on the legal, economic and political functioning of the European Union. In addition, the Programme includes a study visit to Brussels for in-person meetings in the European Parliament, the European Commission, the European External Action Service, and other EU institutions.
Spring 2022 Intensive Programme will offer the following courses: EU Law and Integration, Economic Development and International Trade, Fundamental Rights, Good Governance and Anti-Corruption, Legislative Drafting and the Rule of Law and Digitalization and e-governance.
Upon passing of exams and completion of the Programme, participants receive a certificate of programme completion and 1.5 ECTS for each course.
WHO CAN APPLY?
Eligible candidates are professionals from the Central Asia region with at least two years of work experience in the public sector, non-governmental organisations or academia.
Eligible countries are Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.
Eligible candidates must provide Covid-19 vaccination certificate. Must be vaccinated with an EU-approved or WHO-approved vaccine: Pfizer-BioNTech, Moderna, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson, Novavax, Sinopharm, Sinovac, Bharat Biotech.
TUITION
The Programme is free of charge.
This Programme is funded by the United States of America and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia. All costs associated with the Programme are covered by Programme donors.
