On 24 September 2021, Riga Graduate School of Law (RGSL) will host the 2nd RGSL International Students’ Research Paper Conference. The event offers an opportunity for students to present their research and engage in academic discussions with peers. The Conference will be organised in four parallel sessions - Law, Law and Business, Law and Diplomacy, as well as Interdisciplinary and Multidisciplinary Research in Social Sciences (the working language of this session is Latvian). The working language of the Conference is English (with an exception indicated above).
The conference will be opened by RGSL Acting Rector Dr. Jānis Ikstens, with a keynote lecture by prof. Dr. Katrin Nyman-Metcalf, Tallinn University of Technology on “International Efforts Regulating Cyberspace and New Media”. Svitlana Yelanska, Y3 Law and Business Bachelor programme student, will discuss the importance of research in moot courts to give a message to all moot courts’ candidates, as RGSL teams will take part in them also this academic year.
