Gruzijas vēstniecība Rīgā sadarbībā ar Latvijas Ārpolitikas institūtu un Rīgas Juridisko augstskolu (RJA) 5. novembrī organizēja publisko diskusiju "Gruzija un Austrumu partnerība: pēc prezidenta vēlēšanām, pirms Viļņas samita".
Diskusijas dalībnieki bija Gruzijas parlamenta priekšsēdētājs Dāvids Usupašvili (David Usupashvili) un Saeimas priekšsēdētāja Solvita Āboltiņa. Diskusiju vadīja Latvijas Ārpolitikas institūta direktors Andris Sprūds.

"Georgia and Eastern Partnership: after the presidential elections, before the Vilnius Summit"
The foreign policy priorities of Georgia remain unchanged and aim towards the integration into the European and Euro-Atlantic institutions. Now is the time how international community responses to willingness of young democracies to join democratic world. Already for the second time during the one year period Georgia is voting. Georgian population is electing not only the future head of the state, but its new destiny in a developed world. One year ago Georgia managed and proved its devotion to democratic principles. The Presidential elections of 27th of October, 2013 are going to be another test for young democracy and challenge for every political power involved in.
