Rīgas Juridiskā augstskola (RJA) 2018. gada 6. un 7.decembrī rīkoja konferenci “Konkurence, lielie dati un pamattiesības”. Šī bija jau otrā konference konference Erasmus+ programmas Žana Monē projektā "Pamattiesības Eiropas Savienības robežās".
Konferencē uzstājās zināmi IT un konkurences tiesību, kā arī datu drošības eksperti – pasniedzēji, juristi, tiesneši un valsts ierēdņi no Apvienotās Karalistes, Itālijas, Spānijas, Ungārijas, ASV, Latvijas un Igaunijas.
Viens no galvenajiem runātājiem konferencē bija auditorfirmas Deloitte partneris Igors Rodins, kas ir pētījis ētiskos izaicinājumus, būvējot mākslīgo intelektu.
Konferencē uzstājās arī datu aizsardzības un lielo datu regulējuma eksperts un Turīnas Politehniskās universitātes asociētais profesors Alessandro Mantelero, asociētais profesors no Neapoles Federico II universitātes Amedeo Arena, Latvijas Satversmes Tiesas priekšsēdētāja un RJA pasniedzēja Ineta Ziemele, Sorainen juridiskā biroja zvērināts advokāts Andris Tauriņš un citi.
